MICA plates and sheets
The MDT laminate catalogue also includes plates made of MICA, an aluminium, potassium and silicon natural material that boasts excellent electrical insulation properties and low thermal conductivity. We can provide customised muscovite or phlogopite mica sheets, which differ in their maximum operating temperatures but which nonetheless boast good flexibility and very low toxicity.
The most frequent uses range from the production of exhaust manifolds or burner components or gas turbines to battery insulation and even to the household appliance and thermomechanical sectors.
